Terms of Service
Effective date: October 16, 2026
These terms cover how Marsh Dog Media ("we," "us") works with clients ("you") on websites and social media, and how anyone can use marshdogmedia.com. We've kept them in plain language. The details of a specific project, such as scope, price, and schedule, will be agreed with you in writing before we start, and that agreement takes priority over these terms if they ever conflict.
What we do
We design, build, and maintain websites, and we plan, create, and publish social media content for small businesses.
Your part
- Give us accurate information and timely feedback and approvals.
- Make sure you have the rights to any logos, photos, text, or other materials you give us to use.
- Keep your own account passwords secure, and give us only the access the work needs.
Social media access
When you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram account to our app, you authorize us to publish content on your behalf as we've agreed. You can remove our access at any time in your Facebook settings or by contacting us. Your use of Facebook and Instagram is also governed by Meta's terms.
Payment
Fees and payment terms are set out in your project agreement or invoice.
Ownership
Once you've paid for the work, the content and website we create for you are yours to use for your business. You keep ownership of everything you give us. Third-party tools, fonts, stock images, and platforms remain subject to their own licenses.
Third-party platforms
We rely on services such as Meta, Cloudflare, and Google. We aren't responsible for their outages, policy changes, or decisions, such as an ad rejection or an account restriction, but we'll help you work through them.
No guarantees on results
We work hard to get you results, but we can't promise specific rankings, follower counts, reach, or sales.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the three months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits.
Ending services
Either of us can end ongoing services with written notice, as described in your project agreement. You pay for work done up to that point. When services end, we'll remove our access to your accounts and delete your access tokens.
Using this website
The information on marshdogmedia.com is general and provided as is. Please don't misuse the site or try to disrupt it.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the current version here with a new effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
